Experience...

...an entertaining arts festival in the heavily forested Mary S. Young Park in West Linn, Oregon, only seven miles South of Portland.

Arts Festival in the Forest

Join us for the seventh annual arts festival in West Linn’s heavily forested park, featuring visual and performing arts. Browse the creative works of professional artists displayed in booths lining forest paths; view a variety of entertaining performers in the cool shade of a fir grove, including the acrobatic AWOL tree dancers; and feast on fine picnic fare and beverages.

The Festival is free to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, August 15-16, 2009 just off Highway 43, centered in the 128-acre park’s picnic area. Parking is plentiful.

You’ll find an outstanding array of juried visual art on display and for sale:
Including original oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings; pencil drawings; mosaics; baskets; wood, metal and stone sculptures; fused, stained and painted glass; gemstone, bead, ceramic and precious metal jewelry; embellished serving ware; photography; ceramics; fiber art; clothing and accessories; garden furniture and art; posters; and interior furniture. There will also be a Children’s Art Station with free art supplies and ideas for hands-on creativity. Don't forget to stop by and bid on our Silent Auction art pieces donated by the artists, themselves!

You’ll enjoy the performing artists, too:
